Wanz brings us his first book

With fall’s stormy weather upon us, there’s no better time to curl up with a good book. HMLG client Michael “Wanz” Wansley has ridden a rollercoaster of a life, and he took some time to jot down what he has taken from it all to pass along to all of us.
Wanz started performing at the age of 6, he has re-invented himself more than a few times over the course of the ’80s, ’90s and 2000s while waiting for his dream of becoming a star to come true. After the coaxing of friends and family he penned his first book, #TheBookOfWanz.
An inspirational light read from the Grammy Award winning Seattle musician that caught the tail of a comet in 2012 after being asked to sing the hook on Macklemore’s iconic song “Thrift Shop”. Now, after that magical ride, Wanz transforms the thoughts and pseudo-philosophical musings he tweeted while on the road during 2012–2015 into a series of essays. Wanz shares with us what he has learned, and how to make yourself your biggest advocate, cheerleader and the best self you can be.
Looking for more from Wanz? He is working on writing and producing music for 2016, along with a possible biography on his journey from software tester to worldwide star and back. And of course, he can always be found on social media platforms Facebook and Twitter @teewanz.
